Brad Friedel joins elite club on the final day of the season.......

Tottenham's new goalkeeper Brad Friedel became the 21st player to reach 400 PL appearacnes on the final day of the season and you can also add to that a PL record of seven consecutive ever present seasons

He last missed a match in the 2003/04 season where after playing the first 36 matches of the season he missed the final two matches of the season, so his current run of consecutive games stands at 266 

Spurs and Birmingham both need the win for different reasons, ironically Spurs need it to get 5th place and a place in the Europa League which Birmignham already have after their CC triumph

Both teams need the points for different reasons  as Spurs look to hang on to their Europa League place and Birmingham fight to avoid the drop, although they are already in the Europa League

City will be looking for a repeat of their 3-2 win at the Lane back in December 2007 although the only player from that match who played last week for City was Sebastian Larsson

But that has been their only success of any kind away at Spurs with the home side winning the other five matches

Not the fixture Spurs needed when looking for three points!

Spurs go to Anfield knowing they need a win if they are to have a chance of over hauling Liverpool to claim fifth spot in the table

In 18 visits they have just one win for go qith 12 defeats and five draws

Their only win came in way back in August 1993 in the seocnd PL season when they left with a 2-1 win thanks to goals from Teddy Sheringham after Nigel CLoughhad given Liverpool an 18th minute lead

Liverpool are 16 matches unbeaten against Spurs at Anfield 

Man City v Spurs - Which team is unbeaten in the last 5 matches between the two

Spurs have a five match unbeaten run against City in the Premier League including a 1-0 win at Eastlands late last season

City have a terrible record against Spurs in the Pl both at home and away with just three wins in 27 matches

At home they have lost nine times to Spurs and managed just two wins

Tottenham v Blackpool - Blackpool looking for double

When the sides met at Bloomfield Road earlier in the season Blackpool were comfortable 3-1 winners 

Blackpool have scored 48 goals in the Pl this seaosn only two fewer than Spurs

The big difference is defensively where Spurs have 43 goals against and Blackpool 70, the most in the PL this season

Blackpool have done well early in games and have seven goals in the opening 15 minutes of matches , only four teams have scored more
