After setting the Premier League alight in his first season at Manchester United, Javier Hernendez has taken that form into the CONCACAF Gold Cup helping Mexico reach the final with seven goals in five games

Tottenham's new goalkeeper Brad Friedel became the 21st player to reach 400 PL appearacnes on the final day of the season and you can also add to that a PL record of seven consecutive ever present seasons

He last missed a match in the 2003/04 season where after playing the first 36 matches of the season he missed the final two matches of the season, so his current run of consecutive games stands at 266

Who was the only outfield player to be an ever present for seocnd succcessive season? Clue played for Birmingham City!

Birmingham City defender Roger Johnson was a PL ever present for a second successive season the only outfield player to achieve this feat

Johnson has not missed a match since joining City in the Summer of 2009 from Cardiff City as the Blues Noses prepared for PL football

In his 76 PL matches he has only been substituted once

Johnson failed to score in his first seaosn but found the net twice last season but on the down side he also scored two own goals last season as well

Manchester United today completed the signing of Aston Villa winger Ashley Young, so lets check out his stats

Young made his PL debut for Watford in the 2006/07 season in the away match at Everton on the opening day of the season

Young scored his first PL goal when he bagged a brace in a 3-3 home draw with Fulham scoring the all important equalizer in the 90th minute

He moved to Villa in January 2007 and made his debut in the 3-1 defeat at Newcastle but did open his Villa account with a 25th minute strike

Only two players have been sent off in a UCL Final - Jens Lehman for Arsenal in the 2006 final against Barcelona by Terje Hauge in the 18th minute for a professional foul after bring down Samuel Eto'o

Chelsea's Didier Drogba was the other by Lubos Michel in the 117th minute for slapping Manchester United's Nemanja Vidic in the 2008 Final in Moscow

Sir Alex Ferguson is coaching in his fourth European Cup Final a feat only achieved by two other coaches

First to do it was Real Madrid coach Miguel Munoz in 1960, 62, 64 and 66, he started with a win in 60 and finished with a win and lost the two in between

The only other man to do this was Italian legend Marcello Lippi who did it with Juventus in 1996, 97, 98 and 03, Lippi won is his first final but went on to lose the other three

Messi has 36 goals in 56 matches and van Nistelrooy 56 goals in 73 matches

He has scored once against United in 3 matches, his best strike rate is against the Gunners with six goals in four matches
