Two of the Tottenham side that helped the club beat Inter Milan on Tuesday have a wealth of Champions League experience elsewhere.
Defender William Gallas has had previous experience at Olympique Marseille, Chelsea and Arsenal before joining Spurs in the Summer.
He had a total of 62 Champions League matches before joining the North London outfit.
Transfer deadline day signing Rafael van der Vaart has also had Champions League experience with three other clubs before his £7 million transfer to Spurs from Real Madrid
