Liverpool striker Luis Suarez claimed his first PL hat trick at the weekend in his sides 3-0 win over Norwich City at Carrow Road on Saturday night

 

He becomes the 13th player to achieve this for the Reds in the Premier League but has some way to go to catch the leaders, Robbie Fowler and Michael Owen with eight and seven respectively

Rovers know a win will move them above Bolton and within two points of Aston Villa, whilst a defeat will see them move into the relegation zone on goal difference

Fifth placed Chelsea entertain fourth placed Spurs knowing defeat will seriously dent their chances of Champions League football next season 

Spurs are currently five points clear of Chelsea and a win here would make it eight points which would probably too big a gap to make up at this stage of the season

Second placed Manchester City travel to 11th placed Stoke City looking to move back to the top of the Premier League table with leaders Manchester United not playing till Monday night 

City have the best defensive record in the PL with just 21 goals conceded, six fewer than next on the list Manchester United and 19 fewer than Stoke
